50 sheets<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 Poly Document Envelope<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3 Poly Document Sleeves<\/p>\n<p><strong>Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was curious from the start, I mean it&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.officemax.com\/home\/custom.jsp?id=m3230048\">Peter Walsh<\/a>.\u00a0 I looked at it when I was in the store.\u00a0 Have I mentioned how cheap I can be?\u00a0 I could not bring myself to buy it.\u00a0 I was not sure if I thought it was that exceptional.\u00a0 The NAPO list serv had had mixed thoughts on it, which also gave me pause.\u00a0 Then I was happy I hadn&#8217;t spent money on it since at the national conference, we were all given the organization kit and the post-it wallet.<\/p>\n<p>From the moment I opened the kit and pulled everything out, it seemed like an odd combination of items.\u00a0 They don\u2019t work together the best although the kit does give you a variety of items to see what is available.\u00a0\u00a0 The entire line is intended to be mixed and matched to suit the user\u2019s needs.\u00a0 This is one of the strongest pros since we all have different needs and styles and I could never promote anything that tries to put people into a box \u2013 with a one size fits all approach!<\/p>\n<p>I was impressed with the document sleeves, which just means that they have 1 \u00be openings and have a slight pocket like purpose.\u00a0 The description actually says they have a 3 sided closure, this is not completely accurate, yet describes how it functions.\u00a0 I was surprised at how open that 3rd side was, and unsure how well it would keep small papers from falling out.\u00a0 It did fabulously!\u00a0 I never lost a little note when I put it in there and this is no small feat when you think about how easily small papers fall out of file folders.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_292\" style=\"width: 219px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Sleeves.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-292\" class=\"size-full wp-image-292\" title=\"PW Document Sleeves\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Sleeves.jpg?resize=209%2C186\" alt=\"Peter Walsh [In]Place system document sleeves\" width=\"209\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Sleeves.jpg?w=209 209w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Sleeves.jpg?resize=150%2C133 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 209px) 100vw, 209px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-292\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">These hold onto all sizes of paper amazingly well.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>The clip tabs look neat, but their size gets in the way.\u00a0 They are meant to be used with both the hanging folders (which I haven\u2019t used) and the file folders.\u00a0 When using them on the file folders, either as a way to hold the papers together or as a top label, the clips fell off frequently.\u00a0 It seemed like the slightest jostling and they\u2019d pop off.\u00a0 They also do not fit on the file folders if you want to put those file folders into the document sleeve to carry them somewhere.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_293\" style=\"width: 219px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Clip-Tabs.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-293\" class=\"size-full wp-image-293\" title=\"PW Clip Tabs\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Clip-Tabs.jpg?resize=209%2C186\" alt=\"Peter Walsh [In]Place system clip tabs\" width=\"209\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Clip-Tabs.jpg?w=209 209w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Clip-Tabs.jpg?resize=150%2C133 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 209px) 100vw, 209px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-293\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Neat idea to have erasable tabs, yet they&#39;re bulky and won&#39;t stay on.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>I\u2019ve used the pen only to mark the clip tabs, and I needed to go over my words at least twice to make the ink dark enough to read.\u00a0 I\u2019ve not found any problems with erasing, and here is where the idea\u2019s strong \u2013 the ease of relabeling something.<\/p>\n<p>I like the idea of the document wallet, which is bigger than what I\u2019d picture with the name wallet.\u00a0 It is a nice sized container to hold file folders, document sleeves, and document envelope. It\u2019s easy to carry around, so not too big or too small.\u00a0 My only problem with it is the closure \u2013 it\u2019s an elastic string with a ball that slips into a hole at the bottom of the wallet.\u00a0 If you have filled the wallet, the ball won\u2019t fit into the hole, and it has a tendency to slip out if you haven\u2019t wedged it in well.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_294\" style=\"width: 219px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Wallet.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-294\" class=\"size-full wp-image-294\" title=\"PW Document Wallet\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Wallet.jpg?resize=209%2C186\" alt=\"Peter Walsh [In]Place system document wallet\" width=\"209\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Wallet.jpg?w=209 209w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Document-Wallet.jpg?resize=150%2C133 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 209px) 100vw, 209px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-294\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">I have mixed feelings about the document wallet.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>The file folders are sturdy.\u00a0 Since they are made out of the poly material, they feel solid and they\u2019re not going to get bent or crumpled.\u00a0 They are slightly see-through so you can see what\u2019s inside.\u00a0 Since they are poly, the number of papers you can keep inside is limited, as you can\u2019t resize them like typical file folders though I find this less important.\u00a0 (We can all use some reminders to not overstuff our files!)<\/p>\n<p>The document envelope is fine.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got some decorated ones from <a href=\"http:\/\/reviews.officemax.com\/4193\/prod2300182\/reviews.htm\">Divoga<\/a> that I think I prefer since they are larger.\u00a0 Peter Walsh\u2019s document envelopes are paper sized, so if you have any papers that are a little larger, they won\u2019t fit (unlike the Divoga ones).\u00a0 Also, you are limited to how many papers you can fit inside.\u00a0 Since it is the same size as the rest of his products, these envelopes fit inside the document wallet (and any other of his products).<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the post-it notes are the super sticky ones and come in a neat closing case.\u00a0 The problem arises that the post-its apparently don\u2019t like sticking to themselves very well.\u00a0 Every one of the 5 pads (each a different color) have fallen out of the wallet, though leaving a single post-it hanging on to mark where they\u2019re supposed to go!\u00a0 They do seem to attach to the poly material well, as none of those have fallen off.\u00a0 This leaves the wallet as a useless piece of poly that can serve no other function.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_295\" style=\"width: 219px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Post-it-Note-Wallet.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-295\" class=\"size-full wp-image-295\" title=\"PW Post-it Note Wallet\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Post-it-Note-Wallet.jpg?resize=209%2C186\" alt=\"Peter Walsh [In]Place system post-it note wallet\" width=\"209\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Post-it-Note-Wallet.jpg?w=209 209w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.jenniferlinnig.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/PW-Post-it-Note-Wallet.jpg?resize=150%2C133 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 209px) 100vw, 209px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-295\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">I like the colors, yet they won&#39;t stay in their nifty packaging!<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p>Although there are certainly aspects that I didn\u2019t like, overall I find the products to be interesting and useful.\u00a0 I\u2019m not convinced they are worth the price considering some of the problems.<\/p>\n<p>Have you tried or do you use any of the Peter Walsh [In]Place products?\u00a0 Let me know what you think of them.<\/p>\n<p>Note: All my reviews are done without consideration for the company (sorry!) &#8211; as unbiased as possible!
