The truth is that as you begin, your vision can change and better ideas will emerge, like the buds in spring.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nLife happens in the meantime. <\/strong> You\u2019ve created great plans, you know just how you\u2019re going to handle your time and stuff.\u00a0 Then life happens.\u00a0 Someone else interferes with your schedule \u2013 those unforeseen things happen.\u00a0 It\u2019s here that I personally struggle the most \u2013 not from other people changing things, but rather from expecting too much of myself!\u00a0 Except this is what life does, and finding a way to go with the flow minimizes our stress.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Embrace opportunity for change.<\/strong> It\u2019s too easy to be hard on ourselves.\u00a0 We\u2019re hyper-aware of how we\u2019ve failed and ignore the opportunity to improve things.\u00a0 I\u2019m always on the lookout for things that aren\u2019t working the best.\u00a0 I\u2019m even eager to find ways to simplify and improve the way we do things.\u00a0 It\u2019s easy to put on the blinders and ignore things.\u00a0 It takes time and energy to figure out what needs to change and most importantly, in what ways it needs to change.\u00a0 Frequently only parts of the system aren\u2019t working, so scrapping the whole system isn\u2019t the answer.\u00a0 Yet, if we can be eager to change, we\u2019re open to how to improve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.\u201d Alexander Graham Bell<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nChange = Growth. <\/strong> Maybe not immediately, but eventually!\u00a0 Each time we make changes, we learn things \u2013 sometimes only what NOT to do, but nevertheless, we\u2019re learning.\u00a0 Often it\u2019s painful and the changes can be the opposite of what we want.\u00a0 Yet, it\u2019s still movement.\u00a0 As frightening as change can be, stagnancy is terrifying.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know about you, but the last thing I want is to be stuck <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">anywhere<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Before long, the snow will melt away and those buds will arrive.\u00a0 Change is all around us, whether we look for it or not.\u00a0 It happens whether we want it or we don\u2019t.
